CBDA Cannabinoid

CBDA Cannabinoid

To create CBD from the Cannabis plant, decarboxylation occurs around 176 degrees fahrenheit. Before heating, it is still the acidic cannabinoid known as CBDA and has different characteristics and properties than CBD. While there has been little research done on this form of the cannabinoid, it is already known to have some additional benefits. CBDA has antiproliferative properties, meaning that it can stop cancer cells from proliferating (growing). It also has additional anti-inflammatory properties.

To take advantage of the cannabinoid as CBDA, one must use it in its raw unheated form, via Cannabis processed in juice, eaten in salad or another type of unheated food. This way, the CBD enters the body in its acid form of CBDA. We hope that additional studies can soon shed more light on the full range of benefits offered by this cannabinoid in its acid form.
